Sudden Downpour Shocks Delhi-NCR! IMD predicts more showers this weekend
Latest Delhi Weather Update: The meteorological department has predicted thunderstorms accompanied by ‘light to moderate intensity rain’ across various areas of Delhi. Saturday morning witnessed heavy rainfall in parts of Delhi and the National Capital Region, including Noida.
This brought a welcome relief from the stifling weather conditions experienced in recent days. The Regional Weather Forecasting Centre (RWFC), New Delhi, has forecasted thunderstorms with ‘light to moderate intensity rain’ and occasional heavy rainfall in isolated locations. Additionally, gusty winds with speeds of 30-50 km/hour are expected in many areas of Delhi, such as Kanjhawala, Delhi University, and Punjabi Bagh.
Earlier, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) had predicted thundershowers for Saturday, which are expected to transition into light drizzles over the weekend.
